Digital Analysis using Google Analytics
In order to control and understand if a plan it's being successful, tracking and measurement it's extremely important. When it comes to the digital world, Google Analytics its a fundamental part of it.
With Google Analytics you will be able to measure the traffic of your webpages and if the call to actions that are in them are attractive to the visitors. For example: If you want to know how many visitors click on your call to action (apply here button) you will be able to track it.
Before continuing with the amazing things that you can do with this tool, we need to understand how the data collected its divided:
Metrics: Quantitative measurements of users, sessions and actions (it is all the numerical data).
For example: The number of users that visit your page and the number of users that click on the button.
Dimensions:
The data that gives you the characteristics of your users, their sessions and actions.
For example: from which part of the world are your visitors?, do they come as a reference from another website?
When you combine this two kind of data, you will be able to better understand your user, and also to plan where all your strategy efforts should go to.

Summer Internship 2014
Hello everyone!
My name is Luisa and this summer I worked as the Digital Marketing Intern at Randstad Canada.
At Randstad, I prepared, budgeted, managed and created reports for local and national digital marketing campaigns. I contributed with an analytical framework to marketing plans including marketing data analysis. I managed the SEO web content project, including vendor management. And I was also responsible for the company's community management including analysis and tracking (I also worked at the company's Ice Bucket Challenge this summer!).
I had an amazing experience at my internship because I learned about strategy and how to incorporate data analysis to create new business opportunities.
However, while I was doing all of this I tried to incorporate innovative ideas and solutions to marketing plans and day to day tasks. I believe in design thinking and in creating and implementing innovative strategies to any activity you do. This is the reason why I created this blog, I want to share with you information that might inspire you to create new ideas.
I hope you enjoy this blog!
Luisa
